Addie Mae Jackson Phillips, 95, formerly of Dublin, NC, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover, NC. She was born May 2, 1919 in Cherring, GA and is preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Delphia Jackson, her husband: Ernest Phillips, a daughter: Dorothy Bryan, a son: Melvin Phillips, a grandson:Landon Bryan, three sisters: Hazel Jackson, Louise Darnell and Mavis Simmons and three brothers: Lattimore, Lloyd and Arthur Jackson. She is survived by two sons: Raymond Phillips of Elizabethtown, NC and Jack Phillips and wife Susie of Eastover, NC, a sister: Mary Cowart of Valdosta, GA, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home. A graveside service will held at Allen Cemetery in Dublin, NC at 2:00 p.m.
