Obituary for Curtis Lee McLamb
Curtis L. McLamb, 85, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 11, 2013 at his home. Curtis and Jewel have been married 63 years. He served in the army and later retired from the air force after serving 23 years. He fought in the WWII- Batle of the Bulge in Germany, Korean War and the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ervin and Mary McLamb and two brothers: Clyde and David McLamb. He is survived by his wife: Jewel McLamb of the home, one son: Gary McLamb of Virginia,four daughters: Cathy Tanner of Florida, Jan Brisson and husband Robert of Bladenboro and Julie MacDonald and Dawn Rickard both of Bladenboro and a sister: Clara Mae McKeithan of Bladenboro. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A vistiation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Singletary Cemetery at the Sandhills. .
