Obituary for Edith Mae Allen
Edith M. Allen, 86, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Bladen County Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents: Rob and Ida Carroll, a husband: Leon Allen, three brothers: Billy Carroll, Leon Carroll, Dewey Carroll and a sister: Judy Graham. She is survived by her daughter: Lois Sykes and husband Gerald of Bladenboro, four sisters: Edna Warner of California, Evelena Ward of Tarheel, Inez Buckhart of Tarheel, Letha smith of Lumberton, and Nellie Rose of Bladenboro, one grandchild: Jr Sykes and wife Carla of Bladenboro and two great-grandchildren: Tiffany Sykes and Trey Hudson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home. A funeral will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
