Obituary for Edna Ruth Ransom
Edna Ruth Ransom, 79, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 15, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents: Wesley and Beatrice Davis, two brothers: Thomas and Jack Davis and a sister: Betty Smith. She is survived by four daughters: Jackie Parnell and husband Jimmy of Bladenboro and Tammie Ammons and husband Dale also of Bladenboro, Brenda Miller and partner Richard of Fayetteville and Glenda Gibson and husband Billy "Tub" of Whiteville. She has five grandchildren: Andy Parnell, Windy Daniels, Michael Edwards, Shea Gibson, and Ryan Gibson. Six great-grandchildren: Aaron McPherson, Joshua Parnell, Thomas Parnell, Adanna "A.J." Daniels, Keylan Daniels, and Nathan Edwards. Two brothers: G.C. Davis of Clarkton and Jerry Davis of Louisiana, and two sisters: Pauline Brown of Clarkton and Juanita Harris of Florida. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00. The funeral will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 3:00 at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Western Prong Cemetery.
