Obituary for Retha Dowless Bullard Bryan
Retha Dowless Bryan, 86, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 10, 2013. She is survived by her children: Charles Bullard and wife Ada Lynn of Bladenboro, Elsie Brisson and husband Cornelius of White Oak, Emory Bullard of Bladenboro, Brenda Thompson of Bladenboro, Wanda Blake and husband Wayne of West End, Debra Simmons and husband Glenn of Bladenboro, and two sisters: Stella Burns and Myrtle Croom. She has twelve grandchildren: Laura Childress, Michelle Pittman, Lynn Sellers, Heath Thompson, Heather Lee, Hope Thompson, Bryan Blake, Jessica Blake, Jonathan Simmons, Joseph Simmons, Abigail Simmons, and Joshua Simmons, and 8 great-grandchildren: Whitney, Courtney, Erica, Brianna, Brandon, Savannah, Kaylee, and Bailey. She is preceded in death by her parents: Harry and Myrtle Majorie Dowless and husbands: Gibbs Bullard and Freddie Leo Bryan. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Abbottsburg Baptist Church and the funeral will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Abbottsburg Baptist Church. Burial will conclude at the Henry Allen Cemetery.
