Willa Merle Perkins, 82,entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Katie Bowens, a husband: Harvey Perkins, a son: Stevie Perkins, a sister: Vann Hooks and a grandson: Shaun Perkins. She is survived by her sons: Kenneth Perkins and wife Juli of Bladenboro and Ricky Perkins and wife Gaye of Lumberton, two sisters: Hilda Hester and Sarah Edwards and five grandchildren: Angela Perkins, Ian Perkins, Ty Perkins, Steven Perkins and Dakota Perkins . A visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Shady Grove Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m.
