Obituary for Gloria Jean Sessoms
Gloria Jean Sessoms, 66, of Bladenboro, passed peacefully at her home on Friday, August 19, 2016.
Jean, as she was affectionately known to many friend's is survived by one sister: Judy Sessoms and special cousins: Billy Faye White, Margaret Wilson, M.C. Webb, Helen Webb Rogers, and many more relatives and friend's.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Maude Singletary Sessoms and father: Richard Sessoms.
Jean retired from Bladen County Schools as a teacher with 31 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at Lewis-Bowen funeral home in Bladenboro. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Singletary Cemetery in Butters.
