Obituary for Helen Francis Benson Hester
Helen F. Hester, 71, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 25, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Mae Benson, brothers: Dudley and "Dick" Benson, a sister: Thelma Julian, a daughter: Tammy Whritenour and a grandson: Justin Whritenour. She is survived by two sons: Randy Ortiz of Asheboro and Jerry Ortiz of Bladenboro, four grandchildren: Kevin Whritenour of Bladenboro, Joshua Ortiz of Cherry Point, Brianna Nichols of Clarksville TN, and Candace Jackson of Lumberton and four great-grandchildren: Landyn and Sybeila Nichols both of Clarksville TN, and Kinsleigh and Braylon Jackson of Lumberton. The visitation will be held on Monday, February 27,2012 at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Lewis-Bowen Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery.
